When I saw the price of this wine I was a bit surprised. $20 isn't bad at all for a Sauvignon Blanc from a highly-respected Napa winery these days. The wine itself doesn't disappoint, either. It's a great example of a more contemporary Napa Sauvignon Blanc blend that isn't buried in oak flavors, but really conveys a sense of place as well as a lot of refreshment. Grapefruit and passion fruit notes on the nose and entry give way to subtle fig notes contributed by the 17% Semillon on the finish. A lovely wine and a very good value.
