Vento di Mare 2013 Nerello Mascalese Terre Siciliane IGT ($12) A really enjoyable wine and a good value made from Nerello Mascalese, a grape native to the hillsides of volcanic Mount Etna. These grapes probably come from elsewhere on Sicily, and this example doesn't have the refinement of the best from Etna, but the medium-weight red is sunny and juicy with amiable plum and cherry notes and very little if any new oak. 87 Points
