This is a genuinely impressive Bourbon for the money, especially if you appreciate rye-forward Bourbon. The rye hits your nose right from the start, with spicy rye grain, cinnamon, and floral notes dominating the aromatics. This 100 proof spirit packs a punch on the palate with deeper notes of peach, vanilla, more rye grain and black pepper coasting through a very long finish. It's the kind of Bourbon that you even feel when it hits your gut, warming, expanding, and continuing to impress. At close to $40 a bottle it's kind of a steal, let me say it again... especially if you don't mind a high ratio of rye in the mix. (93 Points)
