I adore this red blend of about 2/3 Sangiovese, 1/3 Cabernet Sauvignon and a splash of Merlot. It has a nice freshness on the nose with notes of dried violet and rose, nice, deep dried cherry, raspberry and plum fruit and a polished, even finish. It's impeccably blended (which always is the trick to making a freestyle red blend. It's matured in all neutral oak, and the wine does not want for new oak at all - the neutral oak gives it a pleasant roundness without adding a lot of toast and vanilla. It's just delightful. Highly recommended. (94 Points)
