Chappellet is best known for its Cabernet Sauvignon, but this series of single-grower Chardonnays from Sonoma seldom disappoints. This offering from the legendary Sangiacomo family's El Novillero vineyard shows tremendous depth, complexity and finesse with apricot, tangerine, thyme, green apple, white peach and white pepper notes. It's a stunner of a contemporary California Chardonnay. (94 Points)
