Review: Alma de Cattleya 2020 Chardonnay Sonoma County ($24)

You'll be hard-pressed to find a better Chardonnay for the money than this one from rising star winemaker Bibiana Gonzalez Rave, a Columbia-born winemaker with a tremendous resume. This Chardonnay is lavish without being overtly buttery, with expressive and deep quince, apricot fruit flavors and a long hazelnut-laced finish with good acidity. It really shows the majestic quality of the vintage before wildfire smoke ruined the later harvested red wines. A great value. (93 Points)
