Lake Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc

This Cali Sauvignon Blanc is kind of brilliant... it takes advantage of a cool vintage and expresses itself as a NZ/CA hybrid with blueberry, gooseberry, and grapefuit notes, not too aggressive, not too intense. It's subtle, varietally correct and impeccably balanced, but still has plenty of flavor and personality. This is from the same wine group that makes Korbel sparkling wine and Kenwood wines, yet sometimes I think the very best values are found under the Lake Sonoma label, especially Zinfandels and this Sauvignon Blanc.
